1.8 Type R is on the left, I am on the right. We ran these numbers tonight at Capital Raceway in Crofton MD.

I have a 98 CW with JDM 4-1, Carsound Cat, Apexi N1 and PS Belt off. I was running on SO3's with 24psi in them. My 60 ft needs to be better but MPH was consistent all night!

1.8 Type R has a PY with a Drag Gen 3 kit and was running K1's with the new sticky Yok track tire up front! (His car is way faster then that) !!

Just thought i would post for ***** and giggles, God I hate stock ARRRRR's! I need bumpsticks!

so with this turbo, he's roughly .3-.4 seconds faster.. hmm.

 

The boosted R has a big traction issue I would call it a 1st through 3rd gear burnout if u ask me! My car is just stock and gay I know u all dont car about my time but the stockness will change soon!

can't seem to get my 60' down. need to practice my launching. 1st no traction, 2nd no traction, ease it off a bit.

should i also post my 16.2@99mph(couldn't get into second gear) slip?? against a 8 sec monster!!

 

yeah, thats what i figured.
but those are nice numbers for bolt ons + ps belt off.. i'd be happy.

Gordon I am goign with all most the same setup as you, JUN3's!! U happy with your setup now? I know I would be with 12's! Sakai is goign to install and tune mine so I hope to be around the Et's like you!

w/ bolt ons and p/s belt off your runnin low 14s. not bad.

you runnin w/o the p/s now all the time?

 

Ted I am very happy with that time for a damn bolt-ons. I just took the PS Belt off gor the night, I dont know about no PSing, once u put the belt back on it is like u are driving a damn Lexus!! Car does seem to Rev a bit more freely with the belt off!

 

what were you launching at? very nice times btw

got my first drag strip visit yesterday and pulled off horrible times myself

15.8@90 - 2.7 60ft
16.3@85 - 2.9 60ft
and finally a 15.0@92

just feathered it at 3k and modulated the gas a bit, the final time
just sux0rz i had to leave once i almost had the launch down...though im hopefull with those 60's and et, my car is capable of mid/high 14's

Try doing it at like 4500
