Need Help with Vtec

Default VTEC does Not Engage please hlp

I just bought a 01 type r and the vtec does not engage when i checked the oil it had water lots of it. the engine runs and i changed the oil like 3 times and it is clean now. i did a compression test and the result was 225 on each cylinder. when i drive the car it feels sluggish and the vtec does not engage. please any help will be greatly appreciated i am stressed as hell thanks

I think you need to address the issue of water being inside your motor before the vtec. whats the history on the car?

man do it some right and take it to an Acura dealer. Or maybe Performance shop. Not a little hole in the wall.
