Both 1.5 and 2way would induce understeer when off throttle because the LSD is trying to slow down the outside wheel to make it spins at the same rate as the inside one.
This kind of setup can be useful when one needs to lift throttle abruptly in the middle of a turn to avoid obstacles (to keep the tail in place). But too much would make the car plow too much at turn-in. So most aftermarket LSDs are 1.5way.
