Re: mRvYbEs PYR build thread
Lately, we have been getting a lot of rain in NYC area so, I haven’t had the opportunity to work on the car as I would like. Not to mention the NBA playoff games are on. Damn Knicks . On to a small update. I figured I’d start the first stage of removing miscellaneous ish from the engine bay that I won’t be using.
Firewall
Removed the charcoal canister, fuel filter, bracket, fuel line & AC line
Driver side
Removed the power steering line, power steering reservoir & AC line
Passenger side
Removed the clutch line, a few brackets & AC line
All the stuff removed from the engine bay
With the power steering line removed, I’m gonna use 2 bolts to temporarily plug the holes.
The 2 bolts I will be using
The holes plugged up

Re: mRvYbEs PYR build thread
The weather was nice this weekend so, I decided to get some work done. I spent about 2 hours cleaning up my garage and throwing stuff out. Then finally, I decided I may as well throw these calipers on.
Brake Upgrade Part 1
Got Sunshine cocked up nice & high
OEM ITR Caliper before removal
Caliper comparison: OEM ITR v/s Spoon Twin Block
- Spoons are obviously bigger
- The big *** oem caliper bracket is eliminated
- Spoons are less than half the weight of the OEM ITRs (5.29 lbs v/s 13.5 lbs)
- Cosmetic look is killer
Passenger side installed. Ignore the rusted rotors. They will be changed momentarily
Driver side installed with wheel.
On to the pics !!!!!!!!
One of my annoying neighbors came by to see what I was doing. You know, that old guy that thinks he knows everything about cars. He told me I should put flames on the side of my car. I totally ignored him. Anyway, he insisted on taking a pic of me next to the car so here you have it, mRvYbEs & SuNsHiNe
