Default Help!

Yea so my catalytic converter is shot and the dealership is talking like 900 bucks just to buy another one. I just wanna pass emissions tests, where can i get another one? I was told i could find one for like $150. Anyone have any experience with this?

aftermarket.

search for SMSP, IPSRACING, or for something local, just goto autozone/pepboys.

edit: your other post https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=918127
indicates that you have no idea what a hondata is, yet you have it in your car.

btw, these aftermarket pieces...forget it.. you probably destroyed your cat, and now nothing can save you!

just go to the dealership and bend over, provide 900 dollars and hope they lube it up well.

Then, by the time you get to the inspection station again, the cat will crap out on you, and prepare another 900 dollars. Repeat, rinse, et al. until youre broke, or figure out its not your cat which is going to "pass" you.

yea the cat is pretty shitty sounding. So the only way i am gonna fit in another cat is if its the stock? and be able to pass the emissions?

ok i looked at my parts list. I just got the car and apparently it has a carsound 2.5" cat. Any more advice? and by the way its already passed emissions once with the previous owner, so why shouldn't it pass now.

I think you should trade me your hondata/cat/header/exhaust for my stock pieces, guaranteed to pass emissions

Wait a min...

How many miles on your caR?

doesn't he/she have a emissions warranty that lasts rather long???

the dealer should be replacing it for free if under the warranty.

you could always go to a gas station and pay for the sticker. they prob won't even bother looking your car over and just lay the sticker on
