which header
imho, you can't go wrong with any of the headers you posted - although I don't know anything about the apex header...
spoon, mugen, toda, jdm all seem to be high quality.
How about telling us your goals and budget?
dc jdm 4-1 seems to be a pretty good header for the price (~$315 shipped). And supposedly it is a copy of the jdm mugen...
Yeah, the only difference I've heard or seen between the Mugen and the DC JDM is that the welds and quality are better on the Mugen.........But for the price......you can buy 3 DC for 1 Mugen.

Well I don't know but the DC sports header on my CRX is like rusting in the welds only after 3 months...of barely really driving in the rain.
So I'm kinda turned off on the DC sports brand. Also if I'm not mistaken the DC JDM headers have 2.25 collectors so they lose abit there. I believer there was another post that went in depth about it but I just glanced at it since I was out of town at the time.

The price difference between the 2 can make you reweld teh header 10 times and getting another new DC header.
I won't say DC has better flow than Mugen or on par with Mugen because it's still not dyno provened.
Indeed, none of the headers are dyno proven to be the best. Neither for a stock setup nor for a Toda setup.
However, I would definitely go for Ceremic rather than SS for DC, my friend's SS DC header has rusted like crazy
and it looks very very gross. Ceremic is less likely to rust but in 4-5 years, you may have to reweld it due to cracking
from heating. It's still better than a rusted SS DC head which you can't do much once it starts rusting at the surface
and eventually eats into the inner pipe.
my 2 cents

Other's to shame.......proof, we need proof.
Actually, you would be fine with any of the JDM collector headers, problems with the DC? Get the SS and then coat it with Jet-hot or simular. I would feel safe to say they all will be within 10 whp on a given set-up, hope I'm wrong
