Gauges: Mechanical VS Electrical...
I've made up my mind and plan on getting an oil temp and an oil pressure gauge.
A few questions:
Which is more accurate, electrical gauges or mechanical? What are the advantages of either? Anything else I need to know about aftermarket gauges?

back when i was thinking of buying a turbo'd car, i looked at defi guages. they are supposed to be pretty damn good, and when you hook up multiple guages to that module, they have some cool features like playback and other ****, and when you turn on your car, all the guages cycle simulataneously, which i think is pretty nifty.

Agreed, mechanical are more accurate. However, dealing with oil lines to pressure senders or all the way to the gauge itself can be messy when they don't seal right the first time. Speaking from experiance.
