Default Auto Meter vs. VDO

I've heard great things about both, but I simply like the looks of the Autometer alot better than VDO. I plan on getting a boost gauge and oil pressure gauge. The VDO oil pressure gauge isn't even 270 degree sweep.

Anyway looks aside, anyone have experience or heard of anything bad about these gauges? Need to know by tonight, gonna order on jcwhitney to get the free shipping on the autometer gauges. Thanks!!

VDO show? they look like the plainest, least show gauges i've ever seen.

i've heard good things though, they're used in porches from the factory.

aren't autometer gauges used by nascar or something?

VDO makes a lot of the gauge clusters for European cars. Mercerdes, in particular, rolls off the top of my head.

Personally, I prefer GReddy gauges.

Greddy gauges are sweet, but out of my price range.

Shoot, might as well go for Defi if price is no concern.
