Firewall question

Where are some spots on the drivers side of the firewall to run a cable from the cabin into the engine bay? (I would like to avoid drilling if possible). Thanks.

I think there's one on the passenger side below/beside the battery. Look for rubber plugs or a wire passing through a rubber plug.

Also maybe check the audio/security forum?

yes, there is one just below the edge of the battery tray and there is also one just to the left (if you are facing the firewall) of the brake booster
