Engine problems after headwork
You will have to remove the valve cover and then unbolt a couple of things including the cam holder.

What about the possiblity of the lack of the oil restrictor orifice?
If you failed to install it (or whoever built the head) then too much oil will pump into the head and not saty in the block like it should.
It's there to restrict the flow of oil from the block into the head - I'm thinking that's the problem. I've seen it a few times on B-Series rebuilds.

but given it was just a simple head swap, im putting money on an o-ring
