engine break in?

Default engine break in?
someone suggested asking in the itr forum about engine break ins...i have an 01 gsr with 3800 miles on it and just took it to the track wed...i got horrible times, if you want to find out more, go into the top mph per gear topic...anyhow, what are proper break in periods? am i safe or am i endangering my engine? i beat on it daily

What type of race track:road or drag? Also, have you changed the oil yet?

yes you are safe now..break in is usually first 1000 miles staying out of vtec..if it hasnt broken in by now...it never will..muahahahaha..
