Default differences

Whats the difference from a JDM 96-97 ITR motor and a JDM 98-01 ITR motor? Whats the difference from the US, and JDM?

Wondering because I was shopping for an ITR motor and for some reason the JDM 96-97 ITR motors were cheaper in price then the JDM 98-01 ITR.

Thanks R guys

What I can think of
jdm 96-97 Has cast iron 4-2-1 header
jdm 98+ has steel 4-1 header , different cams profiles, different ecu map

usdm 97-98 is basically like jdm 96-97 spec
Usdm 00-01 keeps the cast iron 4-2-1 header but gets upgraded cams

Ask the Hybrid forum as they'd probably have a better idea.

Thanks alot for the informations guys.

Does anyone know if the blocks are different between the 96-97 and the 98-01 JDM ITR motor? Interms of pistons and cranks? Because I know the JDM and USDM have different piston dome, but I'm not sure on the JDM 96-01 piston/crank differences
