Difference between USDM Type Rs?
Whats the difference between the 97-98 white usdm type Rs? and the 00-01 usdm type rs? apart form their colour?
Just asking cos someone was saying that the 97-98 were faster than the 00-01?????

Actually the 00's and 01's dyno with higher numbers from what I've heard due to the little bit better intake cam on them.

Actually the 00's and 01's dyno with higher numbers from what I've heard due to the little bit better intake cam on them.
Doesn't matter either way since it is the same car.

97- no rear wiper, ac optional, radio optional(?)
98- new frontend and rear bumper
00-01 - ti shift ****, faux cf interior

They don't normally dyno less.....I don't know what he's read or seen, but if anything the 00+ dyno higher in the low to mid 160's as opposed to about 160 on the nose for the 97-98's. Again these are ballpark figures and vary by dyno, conditions, motor, etc. To not cause trouble we can just say they dyno the same and leave it at that
