Default C's Short Shifter install help!

For those who installed the C's shifter did you use number 7 in the diagram? I saw number 10 in the installation diagram, but I don't think number 7 is used. I have been told it is used, but I really don't think it is. I have a feeling they installed it incorrectly. Number 7 surrounds the ball on the stock shifter. The C's does not have a ball, well it does, but it is surrounded in its own housing. I wish I could read japanese, cause the instruction diagrams are not helping much.

Thanks guys!

Where did you find the C's shifter and how much did you pay?

#7 is NOT used with the C's shifter. That nylon bushing / steel ball combo of the stock shifter is replaced by a bearing housing on the C's.

Exactly.

#7 is not used when using mugen / spoon bushings as well.

So to get #10 on do you have to dissassemble the shifter?

You do need to take a few bolts off from underneath the car.

Installing a short shifter is pretty self-explanatory. Just remove the stock one, and put the new one on in its place. There are no tricks to it.

If you're still confused, here's a link:

As stated you do not need number 7 for the c's shifter #10 is a rubber boot which
protect the ball from dirt and grime, it' very easy to install. I have one for sale if anyone is interested.
