The cone car cometh... (pics)
It's finally reached its new home in Texas. There's lots of work to be done (and lots of money to be spent), but Rene and I already have a game plan. I must say this: I'm very proud of Rene. We had the car in shop a whole 30 minutes before he put it up on the lift!! Crinkled quarterpanel aside, we have everything we need readily available to fix the damage to the rear. The front pass. hub has a ton of play in it, so it will need a new bearing. Other than that, . Although I must say, that's one of the worst (if not the worst) paint jobs I've ever seen. It's definitely getting redone and with a slightly darker, redder shade of orange.

Re: Re: (Type_gsR)
Is it me or is there a significant amount of overspray in your lower grill? or would that be particles of a hood that has exploded ?

Yeah I took the lip and spoiler off per Andrews request the week when he purchased Jensons R. It's pretty cool to see a small square of untainted FBP paint where the spoiler goes. I can't wait to see the cone all fixed up and with a better paint job thats not done by a beginer high school auto body class... Viva la Cone!!!!

"Oh Please...."
Come on guys my R was far far worse than this and i had 90% repaird in 48 hours..
this one is a cake walk.....
My only problem with this deal is there are a few things missing that were still supposed to be with the car and were not. I will shut up now..

Yea, it's overspray. I'll probably take a can to it just to touch it up while I earn the funds for a real paint job. As far as things are now, we're probably going to pull out the fender as much as possible until I can get it to our paint/body man. I have to buy ~$5k worth of powertrain first.
And rene's right, this one is a cakewalk...

Re: (cheezthis)
I meant to tell everyone...I saw another Orange Integra driving around the other day...it had a Type-R wing on it (wasn't a Type-R though). I screamed and pointed "THE CONE!!!!" All my friends still think I'm crazy
