You know what? I was just in London England, Calais, Brussels, Luxembourg, Basle, Switzerland, Austria, Venice, Rome, Florence, French Riera, Lyon, Beaune and Paris over the last couple of weeks. I saw a total of ONE integra the whole trip and it was a 2nd generation. The only other Honda I saw were some Civics and one Prelude. The rest of the cars were Renaults, Mercedes, VW's, Peugotes (sp?), Ferrari's, SMART cars, and a bunch of others I've never seen before. I was very surprised when I saw a Dodge Viper driving around there though.

I can vouch for London, I saw one last time I was over there, It was CW of course and had a big nasty light in the rear bumper.

I found this: http://www.honda.org.uk/honda_integr...istration.html and this: http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/D...UKITRmain.html
There are some ITR's in UK. UK spec is the same as Euro spec except that it is RHD.
That nasty light in the rear bumper is very handy in the winter when it's foggy.....

Default I think...

It helps the driver following the Integra so they don't slam into him from behind.

Yes, there are ITR's in the UK.

We have white, red and black cars with the quad lights. No yellow ones. There are a few non quad cars which are used imports from Japan. I saw a back import at Goodwood racing circuit the other day with a Mugen kit on it. Used imports are big over here..mostly Mitsibishi evo's, fto's and Subaru's.

I've got a uk supplied ITR in white with the quad lights. Its a company car so I hammer it everwhere 100+ daily I was doing 140 a couple of months back and was pissed off to find out that if I had kept my foot down a bit longer I would have hit max speed...its a bummer

All european cars have to have rear fog lights...its a rear high intensity red light that drivers switch on when it gets foggy and as someone has already pointed out it is supposed to stop people crashing into each other. Some drivers forget to switch it off or do not understand what the hell it is and use it during normal night time driving and end up blinding everone and wondering why everone coming up behind them flashes at them.
There is a new civic type R out in the UK in october. Its manufactured at a plant in the UK. 200+ hp. I'll get a test drive in a few months.....test reports say its not as much fun... handling wise.... as the Integra.

Is it worth you Americans buying ITR's given your low speed limits??

Do you all have the same problem trying to spot police cars coming up behind you....being blocked by the rear wing????

I thought about the rear wing visibility issue lately, and realized that I am mostly using my side-view mirrors, with an occasional glance in the rear view.

Not that it matters much. I am usually going fast enough (a safe speed to be doing on a public surface street, nothing like 80mph) that if a cop is behind me, he is there because I am already caught. I mostly worry about oncoming cops radaring me.

I rather like the idea of a rear fog light, but I know that if they installed them on cars here, everyone and their moron mother would have it on all the time. After all, they can't even trust us with front fog lights.

I would like to have the fog-lights in my bumper. It's real handy when foggy (so no moronic SUV parks there car in my rear bumper). BTW, almost all Range Rovers come w/ red rear fogs lights.

As for CTR, EVO (I believe British car mag) has it rated at 197hp... it's alright. Let us know when one of you English fellas test it out.
