how often do you guys have to replace your clutch? I have about 93000 miles on my car and I am about to replace my clutch for the 3rd or 4th time. I haven't even been driving the car hard.

Some how the rivets began to rub against the fly wheel, but then my clutch engages perfectly fine, no slipping or anything.

My OEM clutch went @ about 50k. I have 7k on my Exedy and it's great!

4 clutches in under 100k is a shlode. You must be doing something wrong.

Something is definitely up. I had 70k on my old R and it still had the original clutch in it.

iam need to change mine ..40k dont drive really hard..maybe somethings wrong with my shifting. or too much buring at 1st gear???

I had around 115,000 on my stock clutch. No friction material left.

Babied by first owner for 94,000, then given living hell by me for 20,000 or so.

Replaced with an Action 6-puck sprung. Grabs like a ****.

76k on my clutch when i sold it... never a problem and disc looked fine when I removed it to replace the release bearing. Put the disc back in. You're definately doing something wrong with it.

Exactly my point, if you are classed with Basso in anything it's not a good thing

Would holding your foot on the clutch instead of slapping it in neutral at stop lights all the time be considered bad? The only other thing i do out of the norm is rev match on downshifts (no doubling) but that should not cause a problem or if it did it would be to the syncros eh?

What would cause the rivets in the plate to come loose and scrape against the fly wheel? Shouldn't that stuff be in there pretty tight?

Yes, additional wear.

Possibly heat caused them to loosen

I had about 90k on my original clutch, that's with a little drag racing here and there, some burnouts, a lot of track use and a lot of autocrossing.

It was still good, just replaced it before it broke.

This causes wear to the throwout bearing.

eya originally i was gogin to have to replace my clutch cus my throwout bearing was beginnign to squeak as i depressed teh clutch. then somewhere along the way some rivets got loose on the plate?
