Default check engine problem

ok the other day me and my friend are video taping me doing 1/4 miles runs in my car but one time i accidently put it from 3rd to 2nd gear and reved the **** out of it but it was fine on wed day i did another 1/4 mile run and i got a 14.5 pretty good for stock but my check engine light came on and it says O2 sensor but sometimes it stalls out and O2 sensor doesnt really do that what do you think it might be maybe something simple like fuel filter or tune up give me your opinion

bent valves........chances are if you revved the **** out of it and a CEL comes on........it's not gonna be something petty.......you could have just done major $$$$ damage

the actually code is a 02 sensor and there is no tapping or clicking or anything like that i think that it makes it run so rich it does that it still run like a champ like nothing is wrong with it how about them itr with the strong *** b18c5

although everything could be fine, i would get it checked so no more damage would be done, heres a calculator http://bob123e.tripod.com/askbob/Gea...Calculator.htm you can use to kinda tell rpm based on speed.

a bad O2 sensor can make your car stall...changing an O2 sensor is simple too...

is your mileage getting worse?

Check the code for sure. I would do a compression test. Hopefully you didn't bend any valves.

I would check your timing belt to make sure it didn't jump a tooth (or two or three). If you timing is off your car will stall out and can cause the O2 sensor to throw a code.

i never stalled when I had 2 bad o2 sensors, chances are ID say you bent a valve if not more, do a compression test on the motor, and post the results on here

i would tend to agree. i had a couple bent valve not too long ago, i also had a cel 67 which is 02 sensor. my car would hesitate from time to time at high rpm's, but would still run strong most of the time. get it checked to be sure

It'd start as long as it wasn't too fucked up. What code ewas it exactly? (do NOT answer "o2 sensor")
