1997 Integra Type R, approx. 194k miles, and in good to pretty good shape. She is fairly stock, all mods are bolt-on and visible from the photos I believe. Had the car for a while now. When I first got the car it spent a few years in some Autocross and HPDE events, and runs as well now as it did then. Engine (#s matching) surely burns some oil but it doesn't translate to me having to top off between oil changes. Transmission drives, shifts, and operates very well. I'm fairly certain it's the original paint. Car does stay in the garage, and has most of its time with me, FWIW. The car is super original (as best I can tell) and I still love getting behind the wheel but I think it's time to move on.
Clean title, good Carfax when I checked it years ago, and price is $15k OBO.

and he still hasnt shown the rear or front bumper vin (i personally dont believe its there)
that car should only be bought with an in person inspection by yourself. not some online pictures taken from the owner
had i not brought all this to light this car would have slipped by and sold for big bucks
pics can be deceptive especially when thats the objective
vin pics look good enough that no one would have ever called that out

A friend of mine knew one of the early owners of that car and she told me that it had a jdm front end on it years ago and then a man purchased it from that person she knew that was a medical doctor and he had the front end converted back to usdm.....My friend recognized the vin sticker you posted and this would most likely explain the different panels on the front end also and why there is no record of a accident.

no problem, the seller lost his **** lol sends me this nasty email blah blah blah. I wasn’t even trying to mention the caulking during the auction to not disturb it anymore as I was highest bidder. Anyways I wanted some photos so only I could know and have the edge over someone bidding. He didn’t provide me anymore photos as he thought I was going to post more info as some detective . I got pissed of after the auction and posted more findings of what I saw and how he didn’t even reply to my emails.

I am not selling it to the high bidder and he understands and even told me he was going to pay around $31k tops and I am listing it on eBay or AutoTrader for $35 and take no lower than $31k because this car is clean as hell never been beaten on and the man I purchased it from was the ceo and president of 3 Acura dealerships and 3 Honda dealerships and this car sat on his showroom floor for about 5 years with his 91 NSX with 6000 miles on it and they both were show pieces for his customers..
He even told me I would be out of my mind to sell it for $25k he thinks I should get $40k and I said no Doug not with a original front end around $30-$35k is where this car is worth and I will sit on it until it sells,,,,I really dont need the cash and I will put it away for 5 years and then it will be worth $50k see it dont matter to me....
Also someone I know told me they know one of the four owners before me and said it had a jdm front clip on it and that is why the front dont match....
I knew it ws not in a wreck....

That tirade reminds me of the kid in middle school with claims he has a model girlfriend who goes to the other school in town. Of course he won’t ever let you meet her because you keep calling him out on his bs.
The seller was grasping at straws trying to claim his car was all original and now he’s settled into drinking the JDM swap kool aid. The cognitive dissonance is palpable.

I appreciate you guys posting more info on the Nov 2019 Bat PY ITR. I hope when this car appears again people will search and find this thread. I bet we will see it again on craiglist or ebay. There are only so many places to list these cars for sale.
For the record I believe the seller knew about the front end and was hoping no one would notice.

Looking for a clean Type R close to Northern VA prefer PY or CW minimal mods absolutely no turbo or heavily modded internals etc want as stock as possible miles isn’t a big concern with the only exception being lots of maintenance records and vehicle shows signs of genuine care text or call Josh 443-679-7180
