Default Anyone running B18C5 with P28 ECU?

If so, what program using? I want to go Hondata with 450CC DSM injectors but
no funding right now for that.

I have P28 with FF1.Special JDM program, but the car is still leaning out.
Also have chips with Mugen and Skunk2 code but none seem to help as they
are designed for 1600cc engines.

Will moving to the 450ccs with a V-AFC help for the time being?
Is there an available ECU program for P28 that is made with the
1800 cc engine and the 240CC/min injectors in mind?

Thanks,

Orlando

Well, for me I am using a P28 chipped ready for hondata, but like you no funds yet . Jun stage 3 cams w/ a LS/vtec program chip. That's all, runs hard but I had to crank my fuel pressure reg. to 70 psi. I am running rich at the moment till I get the money to do the Hondata (dyno tunning & burnning the chip).

what mods do you have? 450cc is huge! i have a p28 on my b18c5 with spec b's, toda valvetrain (9k rpm) thinner gasket, bolt ons and stock injectors. i made 194 whp with some cam gear fiddling. i am unsure of my program though, the shop where i got it will not divulge his source.

Ok guys,

I have:

B18C5
Crower Stage 3
Portflow Inner springs, Mugen Outer spring on the Intake, ITR Intake Outer spring on the Exhaust side. Should be good for 9.xK
Mild head work (chambers, little porting), Mugen Race Header, Open exhaust, CTR Pistons, Mugen Head gasket, mugen thermostat, Cold Air intake (Short), AEM cam gears, MSD 6AL.

I am looking for 195~200WHP. Was using aftermarket stand alone EFI (Wolf) but
the batch nature of it and some other details had me going towards HONDATA.

I do own the DSM 450 and would like to stay away from having to buy another set of injectors. I still have to buy a Final Drive gear set before the next race.

Like I said, I have the skunk2,Mugen and ff1.special programs and all seem to lean
above 6500K with the fuel pressure around 65~70psi to the point where spark plug tips dissapeared after a few laps.

I am also thinking about finding a set of 'lude injectors (310's?)

DSM injectors are high impedance aren't they? I heard that honda PGM FI are low impedance and the DSM injectors can damage the ecu? Can anyone ellaborate on this?

DSM are 3.0 ohm (Low impedance)
Honda Ecus work with 10-12 ohms injectors.

To use the DSM you just need a Resistor pack added to the harness out of a CRX or a similar car that came equipped with Honda Low impedance Injectors. The Resistor adds 6 ohms per injector channel..
