What do you think about HKS superheaders?

(I' have found anything in the FAQs)

Ground clearance is not optimal, but in my opinion are good headers..
Here's my Dyno test (engine stock, with Hks headers, 2,5" pipe b hand made by Super Sprint and Spoon N1)

On my ITR I have tested: dc jdm and this hks, on my friends dc2: mugen98.
Ground clearance is like Mugen's.
Hks give their best from 7000rpm to stock rev.limit, without any particular "hole", the dyno test is +- the same of mugen98.
Dcjdm in my opinion are < than HKS.
Btw hks weldings don't looks as good as mugen & co

that hks header looks a lot like the jun header. so based on your testing, the hks was better than the dc jdm?

I bought a 5zigen 4-2-1 (jdm version with 2.5" collector) as a friend of mine bought one and gained 5whp (same day dyno) from it alone and you cant beat the price of them....$470 shipped from japan inc all taxes and duties!

anythign 4-1 will be better than 4-2-1...cept the JDM DC obvioulsy

the RMF makes hte most power, period. But...most of hte headers on hte market are gonna be similar in power. hy-tech, RMF, AN-R, smsp...all make good power. the only really expensive header that sucks i the DTR. I've seen it go 18whp down from a repaired (NUMEROUS times) an-r. And like 10 down from a Randy monroe designed big runner header

I just bought a Lovefab custom 4-2-1 i'll dyno vs. my t1r......we'll see how it goes.

The way i see it, if you dont want to keep switching headers because u realize the one u bought is crap, go custom. hytech, smsp, lovefab, rmf. dont spend 475 on crap when u can spen 875 on something that actually has a benefit to your car besides da bling.

Being cheap creates more hassle than anything

I bought it from a Uk supplier>>> http://www.performance-solution.co.uk/
Peter (owner) can literally get you any part/make/brand thats available in japan as he has some serious contacts over there

You can also get it for the same price from http://www.takakaira.com (very fast shipping worldwide)

I would really like to see a dyno that shows a ANR header making 18HP over my header....Prove it!
