Acura integra b18 b1 type r
I have a very important question. I just installed this transmission in my car and when Im in 5th gear on a stretch is it normal for the shifter to pop out of 5th gear? My friend who sold this to me said it could be cause it's a racing transmission. I'm not very sure if this is right. Can someone help me?

No trans, especially a "racing" one, should EVER pop out of gear on it's own no matter what!
If your have no hope of getting your money back, you should try replacing the trans oil with General Motors "synchromesh friction modified" first. This can help with synchro problems and may even fix the problem. If it doesn't, then the trans needs a rebuild with new synchros for the bad gear.
