Hi guys,

Posting again for a friend who recently bought a 95 Honda Integra. I noticed when she has the driver side window down, the driver side door clanks. When the window is up it's fine. She seems to think this is normal for a Honda, but I find it hard to beleive.

Can anyone confirm if the clanking is supposed to be there? It only does it when the car goes over a bump or something.

 

My driver side window is messed up too. When I hold the button for it to go down, it jumps instead of going smoothly. WHen you close the door it shakes too. Maybe just off track?

 

It is a common problem. The rubber strip that keeps the window lined up comes off. you just have to get some weatherstrip cement and put it back in place. When you glue it, just keep the window down to keep the strip in place til the glue cures.

good post . i have been wondering about this myself. 95 gsr and my drivers and passenger window both do this. it only seems to do it when i roll the window down about 1/4 of the way.

what sucks is when I was doing my front speaker install, I took off the door panels. I found that piece of rubber laying in the bottom of the panel and didn't really know what it was. I ended up throwing it away and now I kick myself for being dumb when I didn't know anything about my Integra
