Default window problem-gsr

I have a 94 integra gsr and i have a window problem. my pasanger window when i try to put it down it goes really slow until its down about 5 inches then it shoots down like normal. lately its been stopping after like the 5 inches then u have to keep clicking the button then it finally goes down. when i try and put it up there are no problems. i took off the door panel today to see if anyhting was in the way and there isnt it looks clean. what do you think the problem is?

take the panel of again and see if something is lodged in the track the window goes down on. does the window go up alright? could be your window motor going bye bye.

Does your window rattle too? Take your door panel off and see if the molding on the track has come out.

And for the travel problem, lubricate the trackin and motor with air tool oil.. Seems to work very well.

its not the motor; if it was it would go down just fine, but take longer going up. i had to replace a motor in my old accorn, the passenger motor in my teg is on its way out; while i replace that i might as well do the switch. the passenger switch will roll it down but not up, which is annoying.

i'ld try lubing the track before i spent any money. I did that on my wifes civic and solved all its problems. I took the door panel off and lubed the regulator too. Didnt cost **** and its good as new.
