will the car run normal without the o2 sensor plugged in?
you are correct.. 14ohms is what it should be at or.. 10-14 ohms.. and when I measured.. I got a big ZERO, and my dad is an electrician and he measured it too, just incase I did something wrong, he got a zero too.. i didn't get a chance to measure the voltage though.. doesn't the car have to be on for that?
Ja. Gets hot under there too! Be careful. I ran wires to it and tested it from in the cockpit.

heh, i didn't want to turn on the car on the jackstands and measure the voltage.. but I guess I need a new o2.. did u get resistance on your sensor?
Yup. Got voltage at the primary O2 sensor too, but lucky me I got another O2 sensor to ruin it for me. The secondary has +voltage but no ground...this took me awhile to sort out. I hunted down the wire leading from the - side of the secondary O2 sensor heater circuit to the ECU with an ohmeter. That's when light dawned on my marble head. It's the ECU that's at fault. Sure enough pretty as punch there's a chip blown all to bits. Here I am, being a good boy and running the stock cat...not trying to get away with nothin' and MY circuits blow up?!? Others put resistors inline, fabricate O2 simulation circuits and all sorts of stuff. That'll teach me to follow the rules.
