wierd noises
i recently installed my timing belt and heard a wierd clicking noise afterwards. i then noticed that the plastic piece behind the cam gears was grinding against them. i fixed that problem but still hear the same noise. i have isolated the noise to the intake manifold. i have no clue what it could be, but the noise seems to dissapate a bit as the car comes to normal operating temp. any ideas guys? it makes my car sound like a pile of ****.
it grinds when its idling and when driving. it seems like it kinda stops once the engine is warmed up, like its lifters or something. it seems like its coming from the intake mani tho.... no teeth have skipped or it would be running really bad.

Its seem like you need a valve adjustment, every time you change the timing belt you should check your valves too, do some measurements on the valves and see if they are in specs. I have this problem before and it was my valves, they were lose.
Check for loose timing belt. The distributer will rattle when cold if the timing belt is loose.Use a screwdriver like a stethoscope to listen to distributer when running, if you hear the noise in there, then your t-belt is loose.
i know its not the valves cause i just adjusted those like a month and a half ago. ill take a looksy at the dist. and get back to you guys. thanks for the help.
