I have been driving my del sol now for about 3 years now and I finally put my B16 in. In the past couple of months it started making the same noise as when the tension on a belt for the a/c. That real high squeal. It is making the same noise but not as loud. I replace the alternator pulley and I noticed that the sound is coming from under-neath the intake manifold. It makes the noise when it's still warming up at about 1200 rpm. Then stops below that. When I am driving, it makes that noise until the car is completely warmed up. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it might be? It's really getting annoying!

are you serious???

stick your head in there and get us a location to the noise god dammit, virtually everthing in the engine bay is lower than the intake manifold.

Gee, smart guy why didnt I think of that!? I have look over and under the intake manifold and I do not see anything. I dont want to have to crack the block open! The weird thing is, after I put new oil; it stopped for about 5 days. Then it started again.
