Default Wierd Brake problem?

HEy
Just changed the Rear pads in my 1991 DA. When i was turning the Caliper Piston back into its bore the dust seal( black boot around caliper piston) Was twisting instead of staying seated. Its kinda hard to explain but instead of the Caliper boot being perfectly seated, its twisted, to what i understand the dust seal is what help return the piston to its bore. Is this twisted boot gonna cause me to drag a cliper. Should i buy a whole new caliper or remove the piston from its bore and fix the seal in a day or so?
Confused?
Sean

The dust boot doesn't help it return, but damaging the dust boot will negatively affect the life of the caliper. If you can fix the seal now, go ahead and do it.

twisting isnt a problem as long as it doesnt tear its ok. Just means its greased well.
