Where is this engine from??
I'm rebuilding an Integra with my son for his 16th birthday. I ordered a B18C1 that is supposed to be JDM, but it has a lot of surface rust and the serial number on the block is 1700003 which doesn't seem to fit with any of the information I am finding. Does anybody have any idea where this motor came from?

OP, like other people stated, it's a USDM GSR engine, as indicated by the number after the B18C. B18C1 means USDM. B18C would beJDM.
To be thorough....Asian market vehicles were the only ones with no number after the letter. I believe every where else, they use a number after the last letter.
