DA9 problems
Just purchased a decently clean 91 da that needs some attention. When I bought the car, the previous owner had told me that there was "Mickey Mouse" things that needed to be taken care of. First of many little things is that the rear defroster does not turn on at all! Second is when I release the hand brake, I have to pump it a few times to get the rear calipers unstuck. And lastly, the cooling fan does not kick on. It's a problem that I would like to address first cause I'm kind of tired of putting antifreeze every couple of days. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
Check ECT switch, unplug it and jump the connector, if fan turns on replace switch if not check red fan relay and power to it.
Hand brake problem is either a bad cable or the E brake lever/shaft on the rear calipers is sticking, a common problem on older cars. 94
