whats wrong with my headers?
i recently installed a dc 4-2-1 header on my car along with a straight pipe and a muffler now it sounds like crap at 3000-3500 rpm
after 3600 rpm it sounds normal agian. its embarassing...any suggestions?

im pretty sure everythings bolted on tight...i think its the heatshield under the car or is it maybe because im running without a catalyst? just a straight pipe?
its not the heatshield like nerdish said. im pretty sure its the gasket between the header and the catalytic, however you spell it. yea what stephen could be the problem. my friend has that exact header and when i installed it, i forgot to put in the gasket and it makes rattling noises at certin rpm's jus like you. nothing really big nothing big to worry about jus a missing gasket.
