Order the OEM JDM S2K filter (p/n 15400-PCX-004). It is made in Japan.

fram filters have been pulled off the shelf in parts stores, cut open, and had rust in them...

I say oem also, but have had great sucess with NAPA silver and gold filters. I have used them one more than one car, and have been very happy with their quality.

dealerships carry them. I sell them for $6 a piece if anyone needs one.

i use modile 1 oil and filter, since the nearest dealership is 3 hours away.

the Napa (WIX) is what ive used on all my cars that i care about. If i dont really care about the car i just get the cheaper puralator from autozone. I stay away from fram.

I agree with this. Stopped getting OEM filters when they shrunk them. PureONE's are easily accessible anyway, and they are great filters.

It costs me alot more than that because I use 4qts. of Royal Purple 5W-30 and the S2000 oil filter. But I also dont change my oil every 3k either. </TD></TR></TABLE>
