What is wrong here
I have a 93 integra, which simply shut off while i was pumping gas into it and then refused to start. I replaced the entire ignition and cheched every piece of the fuel system and there is no problems. Its getting fuel and spark, so what is wrong here. I also have a 95 civic that did the EXACT same thing (both at ~227K) and i have yet to fix it after months. Neither car had any problems beforehand and no modifications really. My buddy's 89 integra also had the same problem and it is still sitting as well. This appears to me to be a common problem can anyone here tell me what i need to replace?
Cut off while pumping gas? Are you seriously telling me you left the car running while pumping gas? Hell.....light up a smoke while you're at it too.
^^ I thought the same thing^^
If you have good spark and fuel, then the only thing to check is compression, so see if your cam gears skipped teeth on the timing belt.
Also shoot some starter fluid into the throttle body, if it fires up, it is a fuel problem after all.

I do smoke while i pump gas...what are u scared of hahaha i have never shut a car off while pumping gas...but seriously i have tried every "easy fix" there is. I was told it may be the computer, but i dont want to waste the money ($900 for a new one WOW thats absurd, and junkyard electrical parts are a big risk). It turns over and i can hear the compression, and the timing belt is still tight and undamaged, but it will not fire or even cough. It was starting on the first key-turn every time before that so that makes me think that it has nothing to do with fuel or spark.

nothing wrong with getting a junkyard ecu. if you really don't trust that, find one in the h-t classifieds. i'm sure you can find one for under $50.

i cracked the fuel system at the pump and then on the end of the fuel rail and turned the key several times, and gas sprayed out so it isnt clogged and has pressure.

Assumptions get you nowhere. Under that assumption, since it was starting first key-turn before, it should do so now.....so whats the problem? Off experience, the chances of the ECU going bad is about .005% or 1/20000. See if the injectors are firing, see if you have spark.
