Re: Re: (SonicBlueTeg)
i have same setup as SonicBlueTeg..yoko avid h4's on the stock gsr wheels..and yoko spec 2's on my 16" rota's...
avids are a really quite tire...run to much air press. like i did..and they go bald in the middle in about a month..but the rear tires have same amount of tread as the 2 new ones i bought.. the tires are at least a yr old(i've had the car about a year) and look brand new..my new setup( r springs r front shocks gsr rear shocks and 16" rotas with yoko spec 2's) handles very well..turns in a lot easier...takes curves like going straight.....only proplem is my rear pass. side sets 1/4" higher than the other side...

195/50/15 so-3. s0-3's is probably the best Overall Tire imo. of course their are tires that have better grip like the azenis but the s0-3's are good in wet compared to most performance tires and higher wear rating than more performance tire. the only thing is the price.

Never made a better purchase for my car. There is more road noise but not entirely noticeable (unless you like driving with the radio off ) I was extremely impressed with the wet traction as well. They hold really well in the rain as long as you don't drive like a moron.

Yup, and they aren't too $$$ either... I liked the Spec 1s better though, the stiffer sidewalls make my tires rub now. Discount Tire

i'M RUNNING fALKENS TOO....THEY MIGHT BE LOUD, BUT off of the line, no front wheel drive will be able to touch you .......I went racing this weekend and I beat EVERY car off of the line with my new Falken Azenis, including a 2003 Mercedes roadster

Ill have to disagree with some of you...Azenis suck in wet condition. The thread patter doesnt have enough groves to channel the water away.....i drive on the fwy way all the time....so take it from my personal experience.
