i have a 1992 B18A block and i was wondering what is that black plastic box under the intake manifold?

Yeah. That is probably it. There are 2 lines going to it and another hole where it looks like there is supposed to be something there. Is this just supposed to be open, or is something supposed to hook up to it? Sorry for being so vague, but I don't have a camera yet.

No, i know thats the EVAP, right? It is mounted on the bracket that holds the intake manifold up, right next to the block.
