You couldn't do better than a K20 or used Type R

i think k20 is just going to be a popular runaway...can i get a k20 out of a typeS for under 4000? less than 50k miles?

EDIT- i am leaning towards a gsr or type r motor... how reliable is the type r motor for daily driving...K20 is pretty expensive FTL lol

Either rebuild and upgrade the motor you have, or look for a nice used GS-R motor/trans/ecu.

if all you did was spin a main bearing all that may need to be done is a line bore/hone and new bearings. take it to a qualified machine shop and see what they have to say.

start with the simple things first before you think of the bigger better ones.

a machine shop needs to take a look at it. not a repair shop. a machine shop will have tools necessary to determine if a bearing is spun or not.
