WHAT TO DO
So recently i spun a bearing in the lower end, and have decieded just to get a new motor. However i am presented with many options, and do not know what to do. Id like to see what u guys would do, and any suggestions would be nice.
i think k20 is just going to be a popular runaway...can i get a k20 out of a typeS for under 4000? less than 50k miles?
EDIT- i am leaning towards a gsr or type r motor... how reliable is the type r motor for daily driving...K20 is pretty expensive FTL lol

i was going do a ls-vtec but heard all the bad storys so i sold my gsr head with 62,000 miles (dumbest move yet to do) now i want another vtec head my friend has a ls-vtec turbo 424hp no problems on the ls-vtec ...also gave him 124 more hp on vtec crazy so im going to be looking for another head
if all you did was spin a main bearing all that may need to be done is a line bore/hone and new bearings. take it to a qualified machine shop and see what they have to say.
start with the simple things first before you think of the bigger better ones.
