What is this part? It looks like a plastic bin located near the battery. I accidentally broke the connections where the lines go in. Is this real important. Thanks in Advance.

I don't think its a catch can, its connected to my throttle body, and then to some metal line that goes underneath the car.

 

it looks like that emissions thing.. what the hell is that crap still doing in your car? remove it!! hahaha

i live in washington, so no smog tests.. woohoo!!

 

What all do I have to do to remove it? Do I cap off the lines? There's 3 lines going into it.

Its the charcoal canister, it has to do with evap emissions. It catches fuel vapors pretty much.

yes it is a charcoal canister, it hold the gas fumes coming from the gas tank, you should reconnect it asap its not good to have gas fumes on the out side of your engine, could ignite
