Default weird battery problem!

i have a 91 LS and this winter for some reason the car wasnt starting. i changed the battery and tested to make sure it wasnt the alternator. after changing the battery it would still die and have to be jump started. after a while it went away and the car started up fine. well yesterday it rained and for some reason the car didnt start. i think that it has something to do with the rain. does anyone have experiance with this???

Did you test the battery?? check your connections to your starter....sometimes that little starter signal wire will come loose

the rain could cause moisture to interrupt connections...

check all the connections on the starter including the battery terminals. It could be that your battery terminals are dirty with corosion.

wait....does it even turn over when you try to start it?? If not then rule out the distributor cap for the time being.... did you check your connections like i said before? You need to clean the battery connections with some battery acid cleaner and a brush....

do you have a camera??

If it turns over but will not start when it rains (high humidity) then the problem is definitely in your distributor. I've heard of it happening on a number of different makes and models of cars.

so i check the battery and the battery had no corrosion and had a good connection and the starter is ok. i also check the distributer by pulling out one of the spark wires and putting it to a ground. i saw the spark jump. it look kinda weak though. could it still be the distributor. it does crank over but dosent want to start. i was also told to look at the fuel pump to make sure that it was getting fuel. is there anything else i could check?
