Default cap for starter?!

ok, whenever i bump too long the battery goes low ad the starter won't turn over, instead of upgrading battery i thought i'd pop a cap on the 4awg starter to battery wire, so i'd have juice to start the car....

good idea?

Nope, the cap will drain when the battery does. If you leave a charged capacitor sitting for an hour, it will drain significantly.

nope....the cap would help but you need to run it inline on the power wire to the amp. and how much power are you running? (1/2 farad per 500 watts.) Do that and you will be fine.

it would help very little. My guess is your battery is old and shot, and you'd need a huge bank of caps to make up for that. Just get yourself a new battery. You might also want to check your alternator just to make sure it's not going out itself
