Want a code to unlock my radio in acura integra
I got the serial # from the label on the radio case. The serial # is NJ12425 (there is no other number in there, I think that is). Is there anyone can help me get the code. I really appreciate for you help.

Re: Want a code to unlock my radio in acura integra (E.J.)
I haven't tried, I just got the number (my first time to dismount the large portion panel to get just a number) then have back to work. By the email, may be the other way have someone to help me to get the code.

Best bet is try to call the dealership to get the code. Some guy had a similar problem like you, and all he did was give them the serial # and they provided him with the code. I don't understand y dealerships give it over by phone because it basically makes the anti-theft useless

all you have to do is pretend ur a body shop and then say its a customers car and they will give it by phone, otherwise you have to go into the service dept. and show some kind of proof of ownership.

first of all, the dealership gives it over the phone because every stereo has diff/ serial #'s therefore diff/ codes...also if you call the dealership and ask for the code when they look it up and comes up that the stereo is stolen they can then trace you to the stolen equipment or in most cases the car...you can always use a pay phone though lol

i dont think the dealerships computer is linked to the "stolen stereo" computer, lol nor would they waste there time tracing the phone call

i do car stereo installations. we call the dealerships all the time b/c ppl loose their radio code. all u need is the vin # and the serial # on the back of the radio.
