96 gsr clutch issues... please help
This weekend i was driving home and had a quick run with an accord... all i did was just downshift to 4th and went to redline... and then just drove normally... i then got off and exit and had a real hard time getting it into gear. I had to like shove it into gear. There are no grinds or signs of slipping once i get into gear and disengage the clutch... Is it time for a new clutch, flywheel, or pressure plate? and if i do need replacements what are some good/ decent one that are not too pricey. Its just a stock gsr that probably will remain stock... not looking for no race clutch kinda deal.
Thanks

I would try and find out what went wrong first before getting a new clutch. After you shut off the engine and restarted it, was the problem still there?
Did you find it easier if you rev matched to get into gear? Did you smell anything funny after your little run in with the Accord?

what gear is hard to get into?
with car off, put in first gear step on clutch and turn car on, if car tries to move forward like clutch isnt disengage, that means your clutch is gone
the run with the accord probly wasnt the main cause, but probly the last straw. how many miles on the clutch anyways? mine died at around 111k
