check the market place, ebay, and the forced induction forum. what ever you do do not buy ssautochrome turbo kits or anything like that on ebay. they are garbage!

ok i have been doing some research about them. how much psi could you run on a gsr motor. also i have a b16 tranny on it. is it safe to run turbo on the motor with that tranny

i don't think psi has anything to do with a tranny. but i've seen people on here boost a stock gsr at like 10-12 psi. as for the trans, the b16 transmission is a shorter gear trans. just remember that when you boost it, i wouldn't shoot for too much boost or it won't be able to spool up to the maximum before you have to shift.

PSI is irrelevant. Total power and tune matter more. A GT3071 running 16PSI will stress the engine a whole lot more than a T25 running 16PSI. Use good parts, get a really good tune, and anything under 400whp should be fine.

They just said PSI doesn't matter but you ask another question regarding PSI. Psi only matters when we are talking about a specific turbo. Questions you should be asking your self is how much power do you want? What is your budget? Also what will this car be used for?

It sounds like you need to do more research before you do this before you make a mistake.

i know it really doesnt matter. i just don't have the money to upgrade the fuel stuff right know. i was asking how much it could hold. i just was wondering what would be the best turbo for my motor that isn't that pricey

i boosted my B16 in my old coupe for cheap...
-HOLESET turbo from kid who upgraded his dodge diesel turbo - $100
-XSPOWER manifold (not the best) used from some kid who was a friend of a friend - $50
-GReddy type s blow off used with flange used - $75
-made my own piping with three 2 1/2" u bends at $22 each from exhaust shop and one 10' stick of 2 1/2" at $40+tax from napa
-used TURBONETICS 38mm wastegate off local forum with a slowboyracing FMIC and APEX'i SAFCII all used - $150
-T-clamps and silicones from local import shop brand new- $35
-Autometer boost guage from checker brand new- $60
-Boost controller off ebay - $15
-
and the most expensive was a tune at $300 but it made 308hp at 15 lbs
