Default Vtec vs. I-Vtec!!!???

i have a gsr so of course i am all about the b-series, there is no other 4 cylinder better than honda's but i hear alot of people with different opinions on i-vtec. i think i-vtec will oneday surpass b-series for good but there too many aftermarket parts for the b-series motors. i have a 95 b18c1 with intake header exhaust and ecu upgrade, and i raced my home boy with a 2002 rsx type s (aem cold air and cat-back) I beat him in a quarter mile but he passes me by about a car and a half at like 115-120mph.

Search around, you'll find some very good posts about the K series motors. They have ALOT of potential, but are a little expensive right now.

K series have a broader power curve. Thats probably why he passes you at 115. I know that the gs-r has longer gears in it but I think the tranny in the Si is longer. correct me if Im wrong though, I dont know too much about the new civics.

i-vtec is better because it has an "i" before the vtec...making it much better

i think that ivtec motors are good because the motor gets the most power out of every rpm by adjusting itself with the ecu. if I were into autocross I would like an Ivtec motor. also dont they have timing chains instead of belts that can break and blow your motor?
