vtec to non vtec?

vtec to non vtec?

i found a 95 gsr without a motor and want to put a b18b in it i dont have alot of money. will it bolt right in and will the harness work? and do i need a new ecu?

if the b18b will bolt right on. same motors. 94-95 ls will bolt right on but 96+ are obd2 so must need some wire modificatioins and ecu jumpers. correct me if im wrong.

yeah make sure u get the same motor for the same year..{ if that makes sense}
and u will need a ls ecu.

I have a 95 ls...and i am going to drop a b18c in it soon...from what i was told they mount right in, and it just needs an ecu change. I heard there is no other work needed for the engine to drop right in.

I just swapped out a superchargedb18c1 and put a b18b in. I have ordered pistons, rods and I found a B16 vtec head! Some say why, but I like the strong bottom end!
