vtec cuts off????

vtec cuts off????

two times this past weekend while in vtec it cut off and threw a p1259 code. (vtec malfunction) what would cause this and how can i fix this?

Was the car cold? Sometimes if the car is cold, there will not be enough oil pressure in the head. A short may also cause this.

youll prolly know this if it wont rev past 5k or youll feel power cutting in and out and the tac boggin during vtak revs
