is it illegal to cut off da circle rings under your car? the rings tow trucks use to pull ur car.... cause i was wondering..... ppl cant steal ur car with a tow if u dont have the rings right?

side Q: can a stock B18b handle turbo? or would i need to get new connecting rods, pistons and what not?

 

ever heard of a flatbed? if someone wanted your car bad enough they'll take it. simple as that

 

they could tow it from other places. it might be a little harder but still possible, besides most kids put those bad *** JDM tow hooks on there to make it even easier for them they don't even have to bend down to hook that **** up

To answer your question no its not illegal. Why would you do if YOU had to get it towed though?

 

Keep your car indoors and if you have to leave it out side take your ECU, so that way if they do take it they hopeful blow it up when tuning it

 

you don't need to tune a stripped car.

 

It's not illegal, but why cut them off, when you can unbolt them...hahahaha! And like it has been side there are other ways to tow a car guy, not just the tow hooks!

ooooo snap, who is your friend? We were talking about this at the shop. A customer that we are working on his car said this **** happen to his friend awhile back. And this was friday. dam small world.

this happened a while back. had a white hatch. had a b16b motor inside and the dumb idiot thiefs took his car to a mechanic shop to get the motor out since they couldnt break away from motormounts or someshit like that, and the mechanic got suspicious and called the cops and the car got recovered and 2 guys got arrested i belive when they went back to the shop. both of them were hispanic guys.
