VSS

my speedo was going crazy then stopped, i checked the CEL and it gave me a vss code. so i replace the sensor and my speedo stopped working period. anyone know what might be the problem? the speed sensor is brand new from a honda dealer.

wires my friend...check them...clean the plugs..make sure they arent corroded

and if that doesn't work, then i believe you'll need a new cluster.

i checked the wires in teh engine bay, they seem ok. how would i check the wires are still good? i tried to clean the plugs but it's hard to get into, how do you go about cleaning those?
