Sup. After install of my VAFC when on the throttle after bout 50-60mph theres a problem. The engine light comes on, and the car will not go past 6500rpm. What could my problem be? Wiring or something in the VAFC?

 

Do you have that throttle setting where the arrow is pointing upwards? Before I did that, I had the same problem. Also make sure the other settings are right....ya know, like 4 cylinder, as opposed to 6, etc.

 

vtec is getting disabled by the ECU. ensure that you have the VTM wire hooked up. If you changed the VTEC point from stock, you have to set the vtec unmatched settings, otherwise your ECU is using the wrong maps

Check your VTM wire it should be totally cut through not just spliced
