Default Another VAFC problem.

My VTi is not comming on anymore. Isn't that the V-Tec signal comming in from the ECU to the VACF unit. If so, does it even matter if it comes on or not? The VTo (V-Tec out) comes on fine. I have checked the settings, and they seem to be OK. This thing is tuned up, should I just re-initalize? or get a PowerFC unit, or Hondata. Are these proper replacements? Sorry for all the questions, but you guys help me out the most of anyone I've ever talked too. Thanks for the help.

recheck or redo connections and initialize it. remember one wire is cut from engine to ecu and left uncut..then the wire coming from engine is connected to vafc and that remaining wire that continues to the ecu is left alone...i forgot if it was the vtm but make sure your connections are accurate. make sure connections are soldered and shrink tubed, then taped. Thats how I did mine and no probs
