Why do people put the A badge upside down? Whats it mean?

someone told me back in the day that people used to do this to signify an engine swap has been done.

don't know how much truth there was to it...but it sounded good to me at the time.

People will do all sorts of weird things. I can't stand it, looks gay. A nice looking car can ruined by this.

if you didn't notice when you flip the "A" upside down it KINDA looks like a H becasue of the little gap on top of the A

thats what i was told it was a few years back
